A Year of Gratitude and Resilience
As 2026 winds down, I’ve been reflecting on the year, and one word keeps coming to mind: resilience.
We came into January with rates dipping just under 6% and a real surge of energy across the market, and that momentum carried us to our best first quarter ever. As the year has gone on, global uncertainty and shifting rates have brought some real headwinds, but our team has never lost focus. I’m incredibly proud of how we have adapted, refined and perfected our marketing, and kept delivering top-level service for our clients.

It was also a big year of growth for Premiere Property Group, with new offices opening in Newport, Ridgefield, Battle Ground and Goldendale. On a personal level, one of the most rewarding parts of the year was sharing what I’ve learned over my career with hundreds of fellow real estate professionals. Taking my What It Takes to Secure & Sell Luxury Listings class on the road to agents across the state, including the Oregon Education Summit at OMSI in April, has been an incredible experience. I also had the chance to spend time with some of the industry’s top leaders in Beverly Hills through the Luxury Presence Collective, and I came home with fresh ideas to keep raising the bar for our clients.

A few other moments made this year truly special. I was honored to land on the cover of Real Producers in August, and just this fall we celebrated our 100th Welcome Home Northwest newsletter. Neither would mean much without the people who have supported us along the way.
I’m especially grateful for the relationships and community partnerships that made this year so meaningful. We continued supporting Oak Creek Elementary and partnered with local favorites like the Oregon Zoo to give back to the communities that have supported us for so long. Our partnerships with our local Ferrari and Lamborghini dealerships brought some exciting projects to life, including our exclusive broker’s open on the Willamette River, and I can’t wait to see where those relationships take us next year.

Of course, some of my favorite memories happened away from work. Georgie turned five and started playing soccer, which has been so much fun to watch. We made some great memories at Great Wolf Lodge and enjoyed camping adventures in our new RV. It was also a fantastic year on the golf course, with a memorable member-guest win, plus winning my age bracket in open division!

Looking back, there is so much to be thankful for. I’m grateful for my family, friends, colleagues, our incredible team and, most of all, the clients who continue to trust us with their biggest moves. Thank you for being part of another memorable year, and for opening this newsletter month after month!
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season, and here’s to a fantastic 2027! As always, if you or someone you know is thinking about buying or selling, I’m just a call or text away.
