Marion and Polk Counties’ 2026 Tour of Homes Returns

Marion and Polk Counties’ 2026 Tour of Homes Returns

If you have ever thought about building a home, have a renovation in mind, or simply love seeing what is possible in local design, the 2026 Tour of Homes is worth putting on your calendar.

Presented by NW Natural, the Home Builders Association of Marion & Polk Counties’ annual Tour of Homes runs from Saturday, July 11 through Sunday, July 19. Weekend hours are noon to 6 p.m. and weeknight hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is completely free.

This year’s tour features 21 brand-new homes from some of the most talented builders in the Mid-Willamette Valley, spanning a wide range of styles, sizes, and price points from attainable entry-level builds to full luxury construction.

Events like this one offer something no online listing or floor plan can replicate. Walking through finished spaces lets you experience how light moves through rooms, how layouts actually feel to live in, and discover design details you may not have considered. It is one of the best ways to clarify what you want before committing to a build or major purchase decision.

Guidebooks are available starting July 6 at sponsor locations throughout Salem, including Cherry City Interiors and Design, The Fixture Gallery, SERVPRO, Kelly’s Appliances, and the HBA offices at 2075 Madrona Ave SE. Books are also available at any tour home during event hours.

If you have questions about new construction in the Salem or Mid-Willamette Valley area, or want to talk through whether buying or building makes more sense for your situation, reach out anytime. I am always happy to help you think through your options!
